Introducing Blackwing Lab 07.29.21
On Black Friday 2020, we released our first Blackwing Labs small-batch pencil set. The Lab 11.27.20 was a 24-hour timed exclusive release where we experimented with holographic variants. The standard design was a gray barrel, black ferrule, a black clip, black eraser, and black imprinted pencil. In addition, each pack also included at least one holographic pencil that featured a white barrel, silver ferrule, white eraser, and holographic foil imprint. The response was incredible and inspired us to keep looking forward.
Today, we present you the second installment in our Blackwing Labs series. Introducing the Blackwing Lab 07.29.21. With this Lab, we’re experimenting with a non-photo blue core that won’t show up in scans or photocopies. The design for this Lab features a blue and natural two-toned barrel, silver ferrule, silver clip, white eraser, and white imprint. Each set includes 12 pencils.
We made 2500 sets of Lab 07.29.21 and, once they’re gone, they’re gone. Each box is individually numbered to mark its authenticity.
