Introducing the Blackwing Eras – The 10th Anniversary Pencil

The Blackwing 602 was a staple tool for creators throughout the 20th century. Despite its renown and devoted following, the pencil disappeared during the 1990s. We acquired the brand in 2010 and brought back the iconic pencil for a new generation of artists, authors, and everyday people looking to live more mindfully.

Ten years later, we are stoked to introduce Blackwing Eras, an homage to the past and a celebration of the future of Blackwing.

Each Blackwing Eras set includes 12 Special Edition pencils inspired by some of the earliest Blackwings ever produced. Each pencil features a dark grey pearlescent barrel, iconic dark grey ferrule with a gold stripe, dark gold imprint, red eraser, and our extra-firm graphite.
